Society had written to MTNL on 13-Sep-2020 regarding the proposed Society Overhead Water Tank roofing job work requesting them to depute their engineers to talk to Society contractor regarding the proposed work. This was done to pre-empt any objections that MTNL may have regarding their BTS Tower operations post the job work completion date which would have had financial and legal implications.
Consequently, Mr. Baburao & Mr. Gite from MTNL deputed by Mr. Boke, DM(BSS-Zone5B), MTNL Panvel, visited the Society premises this afternoon and after due inspection confirmed that there is no issue from MTNL and that it is okay to go ahead with the roofing job work. Society Management asked them to ensure that Society receives an official email from DGM’s office clearly mentioning the details given by their representatives and confirming the go-ahead from their end. Mr. Baburao assured the Society Management that he would ask his superiors to arrange for the said email to be sent asap.
Society is now awaiting an official NOC email from MTNL DGM’s office and after it’s receipt, the actual roofing work shall be initiated.
